Each bid must be clearly marked with "EMERGENCY WATERSHED PROTECTION, YAZOO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI - DSR 5321 - 424 TINSLEY ROAD SITE" including the date and time of bid opening, and must show the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility and Mississippi License number on the envelope. Bidders are required to be qualified under Mississippi Law, with a current Certificate of Responsibility from the Mississippi Board of Public Contractors matching the value and type of work. All bids must include a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond for 5% of the bid amount as security. The successful bidder will need to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. The bid must remain valid for 60 calendar days.
