Site work for a development in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade development.
**As of January 22, 2026 the project has not been awarded and a timeline for the award is not yet established.** Sealed bids are requested for the construction of an erosion control project as part of the USDA Emergency Watershed Protection Program. Each bid must be clearly marked with "EMERGENCY WATERSHED PROTECTION, YAZOO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI - DSR 5321 - 424 TINSLEY ROAD SITE" including the date and time of bid opening, and must show the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility and Mississippi License number on the envelope. Bidders are required to be qualified under Mississippi Law, with a current Certificate of Responsibility from the Mississippi Board of Public Contractors matching the value and type of work. All bids must include a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond for 5% of the bid amount as security. The successful bidder will need to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. The bid must remain valid for 60 calendar days. Disadvantaged and women's business enterprises are encouraged to participate, and there shall be no discrimination based on race, color, or national origin. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities. Plans and contract documents are available from McMaster & Associates, Inc., or at www.centralbidding.com, for a non-refundable fee. Contract time is 90 consecutive calendar days. Bidders must provide a current financial statement if requested.
