All questions and requests for information shall be directed to Jason Adams Purchasing Department 566 Washington Street 1st Floor Norwood, MA 02062 Telephone (781) 762-1240, X-6037 The project consists of excavation of linear trenches, approximately 0.7 miles long in total, in the public way, for the installation of pre-cast manholes, concrete encased underground PVC conduits, under-bridge attached FRE conduits and supports, including surface restoration, as documented in the Technical Specifications and Drawings (Section D). A certified check or Bid Bond, with acceptable surety in favor of the Town of Norwood and equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Bid must be submitted with the bid. A performance bond and payment bond or surety equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required within ten (10) calendar days of notification of award of the contract .
