Site work and paving for a residential development in Booth, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and for paving for a residential development.
a. Under this Contract, Contractor shall furnish all materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services, and all labor and superintendence necessary for the construction of the Work as described in these Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. The completed installation shall not lack any part that can be reasonably implied as necessary to its proper functioning or any subsidiary item that is customarily furnished, and Contractor shall deliver the installation to Owner in operating condition. b. The Work, in general, under this Contract includes the purchase, installation, and construction of all structures, equipment, and materials, including appurtenances, as indicated on the Plans. Major items of construction and services required are designated as follows: (1) Install and adjust waterlines, valves, valve boxes, flushing valves, fittings, and appurtenances; (2) Construct and adjust sanitary sewer, manholes and appurtenances; (3) Repair existing pavement affected; (4) Furnish and install all subsidiary items as necessary to complete the project; (5) Perform testing as specified on installed lines; and (6) Clean-up project area upon completion. Question Deadline 12/11/2025 Bidders desiring further information or further interpretation of any part of the Contract Documents are hereby obligated to submit a written request online to the system for such information to Engineer not less than seven (7) calendar days before the Bid opening. Scope of work includes paving for Esperanza Section 3A for Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 256, Fort Bend County, Texas. Sealed bids will be received at the specified engineering office until the listed deadline and then publicly opened and read. Electronic and paper bid options are allowed, and electronic signatures are acceptable per the owner's rules for construction contracts. Bids submitted after the closing time will not be opened. A mandatory pre-bid conference, held both remotely and in-person, must be attended by prospective bidders or their representatives for any bid to qualify for opening. Each bid must include a bid bond, certified, or cashier's check for at least two percent of the total bid, guaranteeing execution of contract documents and provision of required bonds and insurance certificates within seven days of receiving contract documents. If a check is provided, the original must be delivered within one business day of the bid opening. Bidding documents are available for review and download through the specified website, requiring registration but with no charge. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive defects except for the bid submission time. The responsible bidder, judged most advantageous and economical for the district, will be selected. The requirements under Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply; contract documents may be terminated if the requirements are not met.
