Site work for a civil project in Hazard, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work consists of approximately 0.14 miles of waterline sized 4 through 3 inches, limited 3/4 inch service tubing, two water tie-ins, construction of a new site-built pressure station using an existing prefabricated pumping package, installation of a new generator and transfer switch, and various other appurtenances. There will be one contract for the work, Contract A. Bidders must deposit the required security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided, and submit a Certificate of Incumbency if incorporated, along with documents specified in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and appear on the Plan Holders list to be eligible. Attention is called to the requirements and conditions of employment to be observed under the contract. Federal minimum wage rates do not apply. This project is not subject to the Build America, Buy America Act or American Iron & Steel requirements. Minority bidders are encouraged. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening. QA date - 12-12-2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
