Successfully funded by voters in the 2024 Critical Public Safety Infrastructure Referendum, St. Cloud Fire Station 6 will provide critical fire and emergency service infrastructure to keep up with increasing emergency incidents and a gap in service delivery response times to a high life and property hazard area in the southern part of our community. Fire Station 6 will also provide heavily needed resources to maintain citywide coverage as complex incidents increase. Fire Station 6 is modeled per an August 2024 Pre-Design Study which includes a full training facility, fleet maintenance space, and administrative offices, in addition to general fire station design. This will be an around-the-clock community facility, staffed with fire suppression and emergency medical personnel, with an approximate area of 44,400 square feet between two structures. The project is included in the City's 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
