Sealed bids are invited for the repair and construction of various bridge items. The work includes mobilizing, removal of existing structures, excavation incidental to construction, furnishing all materials, loading, hauling, unloading, placing, and providing all labor, equipment, tools, and necessary incidentals to complete the work. The contractor is solely responsible for clean-up and waste material removal, except for concrete/beams which remain property of the county. All materials must be acceptable to the County Engineer. The award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder based on published per unit cost, which is determined to be the lowest and best bid in favor of the county. Bids that include any qualifications or conditions will be considered irregular and not considered for award. Copies of bid specifications and forms are available from the Chancery Clerk's Office or Willis Engineering. No single purchase order will be issued for less than $2,500, unless otherwise agreed. Bidders may submit bids on individual items.
