Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Malone, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and one-story above grade road / highway.
As of January 16, 2026 Project has not been awarded. Award will be on February This project consists of paving improvements to 13th Ave from SR 71 to Bevis Road (approximately 0.9 miles) within the town limits of Malone, Florida. The existing asphalt roadway will be milled and resurfaced from SR 71 to 13th Street. From 13th Street to Bevis Road, a new asphalt roadway will be constructed over the existing graded road. Also included in this project are clearing and grubbing, excavation, ditch grading, drainage pipe culverts, concrete curbs, concrete sidewalk and grassing. Roadway signing and pavement markings are also included along with the placement of thermoplastic markings on the final lift of asphalt. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidding Contractors must be prequalified by the DEPARTMENT (FDOT) as required by Section 2 of the current FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
