The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish, deliver, and stockpile various types of aggregate on an as-needed basis to various Area Headquarters located in Roanoke and Craig Counties within the Salem Residency of VDOTs Salem District. An Optional Pre-bid conference will not be held. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The contract will be for a period of one (1) year, with the start date determined at time of award (nonrenewable). Question Deadline 12/15/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Patty Harvey at Patty.Harvey@vdot.virginia.gov. The Commonwealth may make such reasonable investigations as deemed proper and necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the services/furnish the goods and the bidder shall furnish to the Commonwealth all such information and data for this purpose as may be requested. The Commonwealth reserves the right to inspect bidder's physical facilities prior to award to satisfy questions regarding the bidder's capabilities. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
