The project consists of providing all material, equipment, and labor for the above five sections of trail with location specific details described below. All landscaping surrounding the trails shall be preserved and reset once paving is complete. Landscape restoration is dependent on areas disturbed during construction but may include topsoil, resetting and topdressing landscaping mulch, sod and/or seed, and erosion control. Any traffic control, including pedestrian detours, required to complete the work shall be included in the work and will not be paid separately. The project is located in five separate areas and is shown on the map in Appendix 3. Section 1 is located between E Prentice Circle and S Dayton St. Section 2 is located in Cattail Park and is the eastern most section of trail which connects to Red Fox Ln. Section 3 is located on the east side of S Holly St, between E Powers Ave and E Orchard Dr. Section 4 is located on the east side of S Monaco St between E Dorado Pl and E Dorado Ave. Section 5 is located along Greenwood Estates Trail, from S Monaco St to E Dorado Ave. All work shall be completed in accordance with these Specifications and the most current Metropolitan Government Pavement Engineers Council (MGPEC), Pavement Design Standards and Construction Specifications Manual, and Colorado Department Of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, except as modified in the Project Special Provisions and Revisions to Sections. Work to be completed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, accessories, and performing all operations to complete the project work in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The Contractor is required to visit the project site to carefully examine the proposed work. The Contractor shall also thoroughly review the Drawings and Specifications. Contractor shall satisfy as to the character, quality, and quantities of work to be performed, materials to be furnished, and as to the requirements of these Specifications.
