The proposed contract requires the provision of approximately 160,000 cubic metres of multi-phase block and road services for timber sale licence development. Works are planned to occur within BCTS operating areas located in the Merritt TSA and the Lillooet TSA. The contract will require a range of qualified professionals and technical staff working in various conditions including isolated areas. Forest development activities will include but are not limited to, block and road planning, block/road layout, timber cruising, site plans, assessments (blocks, roads, bridges, terrain, windthrow, stream, wildlife, visuals, etc.) and timber sale package preparations. TIMELINE: Request for proposal from qualified engineering consulting firms is underway. Further update in early spring 2026, upon award.
