Site work for a water / sewer project in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary for the construction of approximately 7,200 linear feet of 4-inch to 8-inch replacement water main; replacement or rehabilitation of 33 sanitary structures, water valve structures, storm structures, and storm inlets; and associated street and non-paved surface restoration. All bids shall be submitted electronically through QuestCDN vBid Online Bidding ONLY. No paper bids will be accepted. The above public work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.
