First stage of the Highway 9 Regional Water Supply ("Pelly") System project - construction support of the Preeceville Water Treatment Plant (WTP) located at Preeceville SK. (stage 1), and regional expansion to surrounding communities. TIMELINE: The owner is seeking proposals from engineering consultants. Scope of work includes detailed design and construction support for the Preeceville WTP; and preliminary design for the regional expansion. Construction of the WTP is expected to start in September 2026. Timelines for the regional expansion to be determined. *Value listed reflects the preliminary cost for the new water treatment plant. This project is partially funded in part by the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) to develop a regional water supply system serving communities along Highway 9 in east-central Saskatchewan. The design and construction activities to be completed represent the first stage of the Highway 9 Regional Water Supply System.
