The project is expected to be awarded on March** The project involves the replacement of the existing bridge on County Road 61 (River Road) over Coxsackie Creek in the Town of New Baltimore, Greene County, NY. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications. The scope of work consists of the replacement of the existing bridge and addressing an existing slope failure on the north approach to the bridge. Traffic will be maintained during construction using temporary approaches and a temporary single-lane bridge structure to the east of the existing bridge near the slope failure area. Alternating one-way traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals on each approach. The project must comply with NYSDOT Standard Specifications and is a federal aid project. Requirements include a unit price bid, bid security of not less than 5%, performance and payment bonds, certification filings, prevailing wage payment, and compliance with equal opportunity, nondiscrimination, and civil rights requirements.
