Demolition, site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Cottonwood, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade fire / police facility; and one-story above grade fire / police facility.
Major components of project work consist of demolition of the existing fire station and constructing a standard 3-bay fire station. The fire station consists of: 2-engine, 3-bay fire station (R2/B/S-2 occupancies), generator/pump building (F1 occupancy), storage building (S-2 occupancy), carport (u occupancy), trash enclosure, above ground fuel vault on-site improvements include grading, pavement, utilities, septic system, LPG tank, drainage, site curb/gutter/sidewalks, site lighting, site fencing, hose wash rack, hydrants, flag pole, facility sign, landscaping, and irrigation. Demolition work includes removal of existing structures, hose rack, tanks, poles, towers, signs, a/c paving, concrete, sidewalks, curbs, trees and related utilities. The Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking services for the replacement of an existing fire station in Shasta County. The Prime Bidder is responsible for the demolition of the existing fire station and the construction of a standard 3-bay fire station. The project includes a 2-engine, 3-bay fire station (R-2/B/S-2 occupancies); a generator/pump building (F1 occupancy); a storage building (S-2 occupancy); a carport (U occupancy); a trash enclosure; and an above-ground fuel vault. On-site improvements involve grading, pavement, utilities, septic system, LPG tank, drainage, site curb/gutter/sidewalks, site lighting, site fencing, hose wash rack, hydrants, flag pole, facility sign, landscaping, and irrigation. Demolition work includes the removal of existing structures, hose rack, tanks, poles, towers, signs, asphalt paving, concrete, sidewalks, curbs, trees, and related utilities. The Prime Bidder must be a licensed contractor with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB), holding an active B - General Building Contractor license. Proof of current licensing must be submitted with bid packages. If not licensed for all required disciplines, the Prime Bidder must utilize applicable subcontracting, confirming licensing is current and active throughout the duration of the service. The Prime Bidder must self-perform a minimum of 30% of the work. Bidders are responsible for accessing the Invitation for Bid (IFB) document and any other applicable bid documents from Cal eProcure or by contacting the specified representative.
