The Houston Airport System (HAS) seeks qualified consultants to provide environmental services to assist HAS in accomplishing environmental assessments, compliance assurance, and other environmental services. This is for one or more contracts with terms of three (3) years with two (2) one-year renewal options. The City shall provide written responses to all questions received by Respondents prior to the RFQ submittal deadline. 1.1 The purpose of this solicitation is to identify experienced and responsible consultants through submission of submissions for on-call aviation environmental services in support of activities and operations at facilities owned and operated by the City of Houston including George Bush Intercontinental Airport, William P. Hobby Airport, Ellington Airport, and various other properties. 1.2 The on-call aviation environmental services will cover a broad spectrum of aviation environmental activities normally expected at a large multi-airport system including such activities as: a. Federal Aviation Administration National Environmental Policy Act Coordination b. Technical Environmental Support for Capital Development Projects c. State Environmental Reviews Support d. Remediation of Hazard material e. Environmental Emergency Response f. Support for grant applications g. Contract Administration h. Aviation environmental support to airport management. i. Other activities normally associated with aviation environmental planning at large commercial and general aviation airports.
