The River Authority is seeking bids for Salitrillo Wastewater Treatment Plant Secondary Clarifier Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation of the Secondary Clarifiers at the Salitrillo Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project includes structural, process, and electrical rehabilitation of the Lower Plant Secondary Clarifiers No. 27 and No. 37 to improve operational reliability and performance. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: 1. Demolition and replacement of two (2) existing 100' diameter secondary clarifier mechanisms, weirs, baffles and related appurtenances. 2. Rehabilitation of existing 100' diameter secondary clarifier concrete structure, including crack repair, spall repair, base slab grout removal and replacement, and clarifier effluent trough protective coating. 3. Installation of three (3) isolation gates at clarifier effluent channel including associated appurtenances, grating modifications, effluent channel modifications, and temporary bypass pumping. 4. Installation of associated electrical equipment, foundations, lighting, conduit, instrumentation, wiring, controls and appurtenant work to support the secondary clarifier mechanism replacement. A. Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to apply protective coatings as shown on the Drawings or as specified herein, including the preparation and/or repair of surfaces prior to application of coatings. B. Protective coatings will be applied at the following locations and as indicated in the Drawings: 1. Interior Effluent Launder Walls - Mild Wastewater Exposure C. Contain, treat, and dispose of any dust, spray, drainage, or spillage resulting from coating operations. It will be the Contractor's responsibility to determine if the materials to be disposed of are classified as hazardous waste. Disposal of waste, hazardous or otherwise, will be in accordance with applicable regulations. Contractor will be aware of and understand the regulations concerning disposal of waste generated by coating operations.
