The project generally includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, accessories, tools, replacement parts, and chemicals required to operate and maintain the air scrubbing systems. Bids must be made on the standard Bid form contained within the specifications and contract documents, in the manner designated and required by the specifications. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the project title on the outside, addressed to the designated authority. Each bid must be accompanied by all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist, as applicable, and a bid guarantee in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price, not to exceed twenty thousand dollars. The bid guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, drawn to the order of the Pennsauken Sewerage Authority and delivered simultaneously with the sealed bid. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable laws referenced within the specifications and contract documents. The Authority reserves the right to reject all bids, waive minor informalities and/or non-material exceptions, and shall reject any bid that contains material nonconformities or conditions or which is materially nonresponsive. The project will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, provided all requirements are met.
