The bid will be awarded some time around mid-March** The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for the construction of a fire protection water system water storage tank improvements. The project consists of three bid alternatives: 1) Base Bid work for the tank, site improvements, piping, and water main construction across Air Terminal Drive; 2) Bid Alternative 1 work for the water main construction from the tank site to the intersection of Air Terminal Drive and Airport Road, to be built with the Base Bid if selected; and 3) Bid Alternative 2 work for the water main construction from the intersection of Air Terminal Drive and Airport Road to the D Hangars, to be built with the Base Bid and Bid Alternative 1 if selected. Each bid alternative has the option to be built with a welded tank or bolted tank, and bidders are to include the cost of each in their bid alternatives. All work must be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Proposals must be submitted in strict accordance with the instructions for bidding included in the contract documents and on the provided documents. Bids must include all applicable taxes and be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to Sedona Oak Creek Airport Authority. Each proposal must be submitted via the Public Purchase Bid Platform. Bidders are responsible for any required licenses or permits from the relevant regulatory agency of the State of Arizona. The Sedona Oak Creek Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, and accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the authority. The Authority also reserves the right to choose the combination of bid alternatives that is in its best interest.
