This work consists of the removal of trees and other vegetation as detailed in the plans and the disposal of all debris. The work will also include the trimming of trees and other vegetation within and overhanging SCDOT right-of-way to specified heights, and the removal and/or disposal of all trimmings, as well as possible removal and disposal of abandoned fence. The Contractor shall provide all of the necessary labor, equipment, personnel, reports, project management and incidentals (including but not limited to: cost for licenses, permits, disposal tipping fees, insurance and taxes) that may be needed to perform selected as directed by the RCE. Such services shall be provided to the extent identified by these specifications. The contract includes the removal and disposal of abandoned fences. The project shall be administered in a way that is safe to the environment, the public, and to the people performing the work. All work shall be performed with minimal damage to the desirable vegetation that is intended to remain and no damage to adjacent private property.
