The County of Madera Public Works Department (Department) is seeking to hire a qualified consultant firm to provide Construction Management, Engineering Inspection, and Materials Testing Services for the Road 225 Bike, Pedestrian and Transit Improvement Project (Project) in North Fork, Madera County. The services required consist of Construction Management, Resident Engineer (RE), Construction Inspection , and quality assurance Materials Testing The RE is responsible to ensure the quality of all phases of the work and observe and inspect all phases of construction in accordance with the Caltrans Construction Manual and Local Agency Supplement, the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual, as well as, the County's Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). The project is federally funded through the Highway Improvement Program and the Congestion Mitigation and Air-Quality Program, The Department is funding the local portion of the project with Measure T LTF funds. The Project is located in Madera County Supervisorial District 5 in the town of North Fork, approximately 17.1 miles east of the intersection of County Road 200 and State Route 41 in northeast Madera County Work is anticipated to be performed from April to June. The project will require a contractor supplied water pollution control program. The total number of highway construction working days is 50.
