Site work for a water / sewer project in Elgin, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work will be done under one prime contract that includes general construction. The scope includes: preparing storm sewer segments for lining with a Cure in place liner (CIPL), including cleaning segments, diverting storm water to maintain proper street drainage, removing backflow valve, and related preparation tasks; lining approximately 550 feet of identified storm sewer main line with CIPL, including opening liner and cutting out lateral intakes, sealing ends of lined segments and cutouts; post installation video inspection to verify completion and sealing requirements are met, including all labor, equipment, and video data processing and deliverable; handling and disposal of fluid sediment waste from storm sewer cleaning and lining, with fluids and sediments considered petroleum contaminated, including all labor, equipment, transportation, and disposal costs. Bidders are highly encouraged to review the required insurance specifications. Qualification requirements must be met, including experience as a Prime Contractor or by Project Manager, and specified experience for Project Manager and Job Superintendent. The project has a 4% Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (TG ED VO) subcontracting goal. All required forms and attachments must be downloaded and completed as specified before submitting a bid.
