Design services are required for the renovation of Building 9 Early College High School. The work involves a two-story, 51,102-square-foot building located on Cooper Street on the main campus. The renovated building will include classrooms, science labs, a fitness area, and study spaces serving Early College Health Sciences programs in partnership with the local public schools. Some minor grading for ADA accessibility and a small outdoor fitness space are anticipated. Prospective design teams must demonstrate experience with projects of similar type, size, and complexity. The design proposal must provide a comprehensive listing of all subconsultants, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, landscape architecture, AV/IT and security, and any others relevant to the project's needs. The proposal should be submitted as 8-1/2" x 11" pages, stapled in the upper left-hand corner. A Letter of Interest must not exceed ten single-sided or five double-sided pages plus the SF 254 form. E-mail and fax submittals will not be accepted. Proposing firms must be properly licensed to offer architectural, engineering, or landscape architectural services in the State of North Carolina. All addendums must be included. The State Building Commission-approved SF 254 template must be used. No notebooks, binders, tabs, or clips should be included in the submission.
