Renovation of an educational facility in Randolph, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

The project includes reconfiguring the existing teacher's lounge to function as a new multi-fixture restroom and reconfiguring one existing multi-fixture restroom to function as the new Small Group Instruction Space. All existing multi-fixture restrooms will be fully renovated to include new finishes on the walls, floors, and ceilings along with new fixtures, partitions, and accessories. New lighting and ventilation systems will be provided. The Contract Documents define the full project scope. Bids will be received for a lump sum price for the entire project, all trades, all inclusive. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following categories: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION (C008) or GENERAL CONSTRUCTION / ALTERATIONS / ADDITIONS (C009). Bidders must also either be prequalified for, or include documentation for prequalified subcontractors for, the following listed classifications: PLUMBING (C030), HVACR (C032), ELECTRICAL (C047). Bidders and subcontractors for each of the major branches of work must be prequalified by the DPMC. Bidders must submit with the bid a Certificate of Prequalification/Classification from the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) and Affidavit as to the Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts for the Bidder and for all listed subcontractors for whom DPMC prequalification is required. No modifications to the Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplemental Conditions or Specifications will be permitted prior to bid acceptance except as may be allowed by addenda. Bids proposing modifications to these requirements will be rejected as non-responsive. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable statutory requirements.
