Plans call for the expansion of a state of the art commercial port of entry at Donna Land Port. The project will add new northbound and southbound inspection facilities designed to accommodate fully laden commercial vehicles. As of January 15, 2026, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. General Services Administration, and the City of Donna have executed the Donation Acceptance Agreement. Details regarding the design firm, construction manager, and general contractor have not yet been released. Construction and completion timelines also remain unidentified.
