Renovation of an educational facility in Mechanicville, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

The work consists of providing all material and labor to complete the 2025 Transfer to Capital Project - Elementary School Roof Replacement and Sitework for the Mechanicville City School District. Each bid must be submitted on a stipulated sum basis for the Roof Contract (RC). All bidders are required to deposit a Bid Security in the amount and form specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids must comply with the New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment. Bidders are also instructed not to include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials and supplies incorporated into the work, as the Owner is exempt. Bids will be accepted until the prescribed time and should be submitted in duplicate. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is requested, following the instructions outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received or to reject all bids without explanation. Attendees should anticipate a Q & A session. The Architect will transmit to all listed Bidders record of Addenda in response to questions arising at the Conference. Contract Award Date: February 2026, Date TBD B. Construction Start Date: June 29, 2026 C. Substantial Completion: September 30, 2026 The Pre-Bid conference will be held at Mechanicville Elementary School, 25 Kniskern Ave, Mechanicville, NY. Please enter through the Elementary School main entrance. Contractor shall work extended days, beyond 8-hours per day and/or during weekend periods (at no additional cost), as needed to complete the scope of work according to the Milestone Schedule.
