The City of Kyle, Texas is seeking competitive sealed proposals for the Windy Hill Road Improvements project under a road bond initiative. Requirements for participation can be obtained from the City's designated procurement website. Proposals must be submitted online by the specified deadline and late or faxed submissions will not be accepted. Final completion-460 calendar days Proposals are invited for the items and scope of work as follows: Realigning and improving Windy Hill Rd. from E. ROW of IH 35 north bound frontage road to Purple Martin Ave. with asphalt reconstruction, curb and gutters, and raised medians in select sections. Other improvements include proposed: roundabout with centered structural pad for art piece and surrounding decorative materials, sidewalks, curb ramps, driveways, storm sewers, cross culvert extensions, pedestrian railing, roadside ditches and culverts, water lines, street lighting, permanent signage and striping, and two rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB). Construction services for this project will be selected through competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Chapter 2269, of the Texas Government Code. The Owner will evaluate and rank the contractors based on the following selection criteria: [60 Points - Contract Price; 25 Points - Contractor's Experience and Qualifications; 15 Points - Proposed Schedule; with an additional possible 10 Points for Optional Interview for certain qualified Proposers].
