The Electrical Division may also need assistance is providing services for other city departments. The list of bid items and quantities is provided as examples of typical work items. This bid does not guarantee any of the quantities of work listed, quantities may be less or more depending and actual work performed. All materials used in this installation shall be manufactured in accord with all applicable codes and shall be UL listed. Electrical material without UL label shall not be permitted. Work and installation under this project shall be in accordance with all applicable state and/or local codes. The Contractor must be licensed to do electrical work within the City of Grand Forks under a Master contracting license. Copy of license must be furnished to City prior to execution of the contract. All traffic signal and associated lighting installation must be performed or supervised by a Level I Traffic Signal Field Technician certificate from IMSA. Contractor shall have until September 1, 2026 to secure ISMA certificate. Until certification is obtained, traffic signal work must be supervised by City of Grand Forks, Electrical Division. All bids must be properly labeled on the outside of the bid envelope with the Bid Number and contain this form bearing a signature of an authorized officer or representative of the Vendor in order to be considered valid. Improperly labeled bids or those not containing a signed bid form will be rejected. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or part thereof, to accept one or more, items of a bid without obligation as to other items, and to waive any informalities or irregularities.
