C-1, C-2, and C-3 gravel for blacktopping parish roads, to be delivered to job site. Bidder must submit a bid on all three classes of rock. Bid Per Ton Only. No Mileage May Be Added. Bid price must include all applicable taxes and fees. If the accepted bidder cannot deliver within 48 hours, the Catahoula Parish Police Jury reserves the right to purchase gravel from the next lowest bidder. Bidders must include in their proposal a separate statement setting forth any and all preferences they claim to be entitled to. If any preferences are listed, the name and location of the manufacturer must be stated. Vendors requesting preference per LA R.S. 39:1604 must meet all requirements contained in the statute. The Catahoula Parish Police Jury reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make the award as it may elect. Acceptance of a bid shall constitute a contract, which cannot be terminated without 30-day written consent signed by both parties.
