Site work and paving for a road / highway in Harrison, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade road / highway; and one-story above grade road / highway.
Contractor shall cut all trees leaving a 3' stump within the 66' right of way (ROW). All logs shall be cut into 8' lengths and stacked along the outer ROW line. Clean up all the brush and wood chips and remove them from the project. Trim overhanging branches that may fall within the ROW from neighboring trees. Bids shall be in accordance with the specifications obtainable from the road commission office and submitted upon the forms provided. Bids must be in sealed envelopes plainly marked as to their contents. The Board of County Road Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive defects, and accept the bid which, in their opinion, is in the best interests of the Clare County Road Commission. Bid unit prices may be renewed for up to 3 years, if mutually agreed upon by all parties. The extension of bids shall also apply to the City of Harrison, City of Clare, Village of Farwell, MDOT, and all adjacent counties. All projects are subject to cancellations.
