Seattle Public Schools is requesting statements of qualifications and proposals from General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) firms to support its Capital Projects division. The selected firm will provide preconstruction and construction services for the McGilvra Elementary Exterior Cladding and Seismic Improvements project identified under the Buildings Excellence V (BEX V) Capital Levy. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Seattle School District No. 1 (district) is soliciting qualifications and proposals from experienced firms for Pre-Construction and Construction services for the McGilvra Elementary Exterior Cladding and Seismic Improvements project. The district intends to award a contract utilizing an alternative construction procurement (GC/CM) process authorized under the Revised Code of Washington, Chapter 39.10. This is STEP 1 in the competitive selection process required by the statutory procedure to select a General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) for the project. The district has obtained specific project approval from the Washington State Capital Projects Advisory Review Board (CPARB) Project Review Committee (PRC) to utilize the GC/CM delivery method on the Project.
