Renovation of a water / sewer project in Palm Bay, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
General rehabilitation of the SRWTP as identified in the 5yr W MP CIP # 27 and 10yr W MP CIP#22. Note, the MP does not accurately reflect the state of the SRWTP several of the chemical systems have already been rehabilitated while several other items were not identified. an assement of the entire plant should be conducted by staff to determine the exact needs such as the cracks in the Clearwell, the poor state of the walk way at the Clearwell, the failing gutters at the ops bldg., the failing stucco at the ops building, the failing paint thought the facility, sediment accumulation in the DIW pond, well valve assemblies, rusting conduits near the degasifies. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of December 12, 2025, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
