The Breathitt County Fiscal Court is accepting Bore Test Drill bids for the fiscal year of 2026. Bore Test Drill Bids will be for all disasters at various sites throughout the county. All bids must be completed within 10 days of notification. Contractors must submit proof of general liability insurance (minimum $1,000,000.00 coverage) and workers’ compensation insurance. Each Contractor must post and present a bid guarantee equivalent to five percent of the bid price. The bid guarantee must consist of a firm commitment such as a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument accompanying a bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required within the time specified. All work must comply with applicable state and regulations, and must adhere to the specifications as laid out in the pertinent project worksheets. No prospective bidder will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age or disability in consideration of the award. The Breathitt County Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses, waive technicalities, and to negotiate with the respondent who most nearly meets the project requirements. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled "BORE TEST DRILL BID."
