Renovation of a multi-residential development in Williamston, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
**As of February 17, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Walnut Terrace Re-Roofing and Vinyl Siding Furnishing of labor, materials, and equipment to perform all work required for the Walnut Terrace Re-Roofing and Vinyl Siding project. Contractors must have the proper licenses under applicable state laws for their trades, regardless of federal funding involvement. Contractors are required to ensure that economic opportunities, to the greatest extent feasible, are provided in accordance with Section 3 Clause 24 CFR PART 135.1 and Section 3 Clause 24 CFR Part 135.38. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. The Williamston Housing Authority is looking for a qualified General Contractor to remove and replace shingle roofs and some vinyl siding on fifty (50) units, twenty-five (25) buildings total at one (1) site. Contractor is responsible for verifying actual conditions and number of buildings. Contractor is responsible for all permits required by any governing agency. Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply and Certified Weekly Payrolls have to be submitted in accordance with HUD standards. Contractor will be required to show proof of Worker's Compensation, Automobile, and General Liability Insurance. Worker's Comp. And General Liability must be minimum of $1,000,000.00 with Williamston Housing Authority being named additional insured. Automobile Insurance must say all owned and non-owned vehicles.
