Site work and paving for a civil project in Ridgefield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of one (1) Base Bid and one (1) Alternate Bid. The Base Bid consists of roadway improvements along Day Avenue (from Shaller Boulevard to Oak Street, and from Studio Road to Bergen Boulevard). The work includes milling and paving, HMA profile milling, full depth pavement repair, upgrading bicycle safe grates/eco curb pieces, drainage improvements, as well as other improvements depicted within the Construction Plans. Alternate Bid 'A' consists of installation of 24" precast polymer concrete trench drain at the intersection of Studio Road and Day Avenue. All work on this contract must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. a bid bond or a certified check drawn to the order of Borough of Ridgefield for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond and labor and material (payment) bond for the full amount of this project is required. The award of the Contract for this project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by the Owner in a lawful manner. Proposals for this contract will only be accepted from bidders who have properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and non-waivable set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2. Further, the Owner reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or state or federal administrative action is taken against the Owner which could delay or jeopardize the project from commencing.
