The work necessary for the completion of this contract consists of the following: o Distributing door hanger notifications o Placing "No Parking" signs and traffic control o Saw cutting and removing concrete sidewalks, parkways, driveways, access ramps, cross gutters, curbs and gutters o Constructing new concrete sidewalks, parkways, driveways, access ramps, cross gutters, curbs and gutters (utilizing pump if necessary) o Patching areas of concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk o Protecting in place existing grade and subgrade of all concrete work o Restoring private improvements o Restoring survey markers damaged or displaced by the work o Painting curb face and tops red where applicable o Installing grass turf as necessary to match existing private grass turf o Providing temporary access during construction o And other incidental items to complete work in place as required by the Contact Documents No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)].
