IEPA SRF Census Tract 2 – Block Level Lead Service Line Replacements (LSLR) Projects, under the Department of Water, is a construction project that must comply with various federal and state procurement and labor requirements, including the Davis-Bacon Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, and the "Use of American Iron and Steel/Build America, Buy America (AIS/BABA)" requirements. The project also supports increased use of disadvantaged business enterprises. Bids must be electronic, submitted through the City of Chicago's website, and accompanied by a Bid Bond provided by a surety company authorized to do business in the United States, with a scanned copy attached to the submission and the original bond delivered within 3 business days of the bid opening. Bids received after the announced date and time will not be accepted.
