Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jacksonville, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

This Request for Proposal (RFP), issued pursuant to the Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), F.S. 287.055, will be used to select one Professional Engineering Consultant to provide design and related professional services for roadway, intersection, and parking improvement projects throughout the City. In accordance with CCNA continuing-contract limits, each task order assigned under this contract will have an estimated professional services fee of less than $500,000, and any associated construction project. Services may include, but are not limited to, conceptual studies; roadway and intersection design; parking layout and rehabilitation; incidental drainage design associated with transportation improvements; utility coordination; permitting; public involvement; and preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates in compliance with City and FDOT standards. All work will be assigned on a task-order basis as project needs arise. No pre-bid or pre-proposal meeting is scheduled. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
