Renovation of an educational facility in Dadeville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
As of January 28, 2026 the project has been awarded. Sealed proposals are requested for the re-roofing of the Dadeville High School Vocational Building for Tallapoosa County Schools. All General Contractors must visit the site and examine all existing conditions prior to submitting their proposals. Bidders are required to have general liability and workmans compensation insurance and must submit bids excluding taxes on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof. Bids cannot be withdrawn for ninety (90) days following the deadline. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors in the Owner's judgment. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to Tallapoosa County Schools, not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount and not exceeding $10,000.00, must accompany each bid. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required upon signing the contract. Bidders with proposals exceeding the State Licensing Board's limit must be licensed according to Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must display their current license number on the sealed envelope. Project documents can be reviewed and printed from the McKee website. Only documents published through this process are endorsed by the Architect. Addendums will be provided to confirmed bidders. For printed sets, bidders must request them by email and return them within ten days after bid opening in reusable condition. Question Deadline 01/02/2026 at 2:00 PM CT The Architect reserves the right not to answer any Request For Information received after 2:00 p.m., Two (2) days prior to the bid date. "Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only. Official sets must be obtained from McKee and Associates to bid."
