Site work and renovation of a medical facility in Dorval, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Upgrades and redevelopment of the Dorval campus of the Batshaw Youth and Family Centre. The scope of work includes the demolishing of two existing open custody units and construct two open units, each with 12 beds (24 beds total). The project also includes the addition of a gymnasium designed to meet the safety requirements of both types of clientele, preventing contact between youth in open and closed custody. The renovation of the entrances, particularly for the closed custody area, also necessitates the construction of a van garage and the development of a field for outdoor activities. TIMELINE: Process of the request for proposals AOP2025-72005/20111241 from architectural and civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering professional consulting firms for the preparation of the project design and construction work monitoring has closed. Deposited submissions are under review. Award is anticipated in late spring/summer 2026. Further update at that time.
