The Contractor shall furnish and install twenty-five (25) battery-backup solar LED lighting systems at designated bus stops throughout North San Diego County (See Attachment 1: Aerial Site Plan). The work shall consist of the installation of seven (7) new solar lighting systems on existing bus stop shelters; the removal of three (3) non-operational solar lighting systems and installation of new replacement systems; the replacement of three (3) existing signposts with new posts equipped with solar lighting systems; and the construction of twelve (12) concrete footings with the installation of new posts equipped with solar lighting systems. The Scope of Work is also including Optional Items to remove and dispose of nine (9) existing signpost, salvage bus stop sign-plates, install ten (10) new posts with concrete footings, and install the sign plates and new solar lighting systems on new posts. The Project will procure the necessary materials, equipment, labor and system support needed to complete the solar lighting system installation as indicated in the scope of work. All work will be performed outdoor; hence, all material shall be corrosion resistant and rated for outdoor use, including stainless steel, hot-dipped galvanized steel, and aluminum. Contractor shall provide a five (5) year warranty for solar lighting systems and their components, a one (1) year warranty for fasteners, bolts, screws, posts, and concrete footings, and a one (1) year warranty for workmanship.
