Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Visalia, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a 114,524-square-foot, one-story above grade office development; and one-story above grade industrial development.

The work consists of all labor, material, equipment, and services to perform all selective demolition and construction required by the Contract Documents, including but not limited to four single-story wood frame buildings with a total floor area of 114,524 square feet and one non-DSA steel warehouse building, with related on-site and off-site improvements. Bids are requested for all trades, with concrete, carpentry, and laborers trades required to be signatory to their respective unions. Bids shall be on a per site lump sum basis in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications without exception. Subcontractor scope letters are requested at least 24 hours prior to the bid date. Subcontracts will be issued through Oral E. Micham, Inc., and any requests for alterations to the subcontract agreement must be made prior to submitting a bid. Bonds may be required, with a separate bond cost provided with each bid. Prequalification is required for certain trades on state-funded projects over $1 million, with completed prequalification packets due by the specified deadline. The work must be completed within 560 calendar days from the owner's Notice to Proceed. All proposals must be submitted in writing by the deadline; verbal bids will not be accepted. All bidders must be licensed to do business in California, comply with applicable wage, labor, and safety requirements, and meet all specified legal and regulatory requirements including DIR registration, DVBE participation, labor compliance, and skilled workforce provisions. Contract Documents may be obtained or examined as specified. Substitutions for materials or equipment must comply with the requirements and timelines set forth in the specifications.
