The City of McKinney invites qualified and visionary development teams to submit their interest in transforming up to 300 acres of undeveloped land (the "Site") located near the intersection of Bloomdale Road and Taylor Burke Drive in McKinney, Texas. This City-owned, high-profile property offers a unique opportunity to develop a landmark sports and entertainment destination in one of the nation's fastest-growing and most sought-after communities. he selected Development Team(s) is expected to enter into a comprehensive development agreement with the City, which will govern and ensure the development of the Site, including, but not limited to, the prohibition and restriction of certain uses. Location: Northeast and Southwest of the intersection of Bloomdale Road and TaylorBurke Drive. Submission- Respondents are encouraged to use the online submittal option. The city's electronic procurement system is Bonfire and technical support is offered by emailing support.bonfire@eunasolutions.com.. Hard copy submittals must be clearly addressed to Procurement Services and include the RFQ name and number on the outside of the envelope/package. The vision for the Site includes a dynamic and complementary mix of uses, which may include but are not limited to: o Athletic fields - such as, soccer, lacrosse, cricket, football, and diamond sports o Pickleball, basketball, and volleyball, both indoor and outdoor o Indoor recreation facilities o Entertainment o Hotels, both short- and long-term o Food & Beverage o Parking, to potentially include structured parking o Trails and connections to existing pedestrian networks The addition of these types of facilities into the parks system will bring McKinney closer to bridging the gaps in the recommended guidelines for athletic facilities and amenities, as described in the Parks Master Plan and NRPA (National Recreation and Parks Association) guidelines.
