The project will generally consist of the installation of new 8" sanitary sewer main, 4" laterals with cleanouts, 4' diameter manholes and appurtenances. The disturbed sewer trench areas will be restored including driveways, pavement and lawns. Long side laterals can be installed by "open-cut" method. Upon acceptance of his bid, if the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract pursuant to the requirements of the Owner, then the check deposited as aforesaid and the money standing to the credit of the same shall be forfeited to the Town of Webster as liquidated damages or the payment of the bond enforced for the benefit of the Owner . Guarantee Bonds in the form of a Performance Bond, Labor and Materials Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, will be required upon final acceptance of contract. Each bidder shall provide their cost for the performance bond for a one (1) year period.
