Services include all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the mowing and landscaping of City property and right of ways. Areas to be maintained (mowed, edged, and blower) are: Hiawassee City Square (weekly), Hiawassee City Hall at 50 River Street including shrubbery, trees, and walkways (weekly), sidewalks fronting Highway 76 from Monte Alban to Mayor’s Park (bi-weekly), Mayor’s Park (bi-weekly), City Hall rear parking area including banks, shrubbery, trees, and walkways (weekly), and other City-owned property as directed by the City. Additional work such as trimming trees, tree removal, etc., will be negotiated and approved by the Mayor prior to any work being done. Bidders are to provide per cut prices for each area and an hourly charge for additional work. Bidders must submit sealed bids marked “2026 Landscape Contract Bid – Hiawassee, GA.” Contractor must maintain liability insurance for the duration of the agreement and indemnify the City. Upon award, the contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance Declaration Page, Workers Comp Certificate of Insurance, W-9, and E-Verify number.
