Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project consists of sewer main force, gravity sewer main, duplex sewage pumping station, site demolition, and site improvements. Instructions to bidders include obtaining bidding documents from Copy World LLC., with printed sets available for $100 each including shipping, and optional PDF sets for those who have purchased printed documents. Partial sets are not available, and only documents from the issuing office are considered official. Bidding documents may also be examined at the office of the Engineer, Dufresne Group, during specified hours. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Town Hall, Selectboard Meeting Room, 556 Elm Street, Chester, VT 05143. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory.
