Reference Number 00004828779 BC Hydro is one of the largest electric utilities in Canada. We generate and provide electricity to 95 per cent of British Columbia's population and serve over four million people. The system includes 35 hydroelectric facilities, 300 substations and over 79,000 kilometers of transmission and distribution lines. The electricity generated and transmitted to our customers throughout the province has consistently powered B.C.'s economy and quality of life. It is our mission to safely provide our customers with reliable, affordable, clean electricity throughout B.C. BC Hydro anitipcates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) in mid-late January 2026 for the procurement of Contaminated Site Remediation and Spill Response Services across the Province of British Columbia The contracts are expected to have an initial term of five years with options to extend by up to five years, in any combination for a total of up to ten years. Our preferred suppliers are expected to have the experience and expertise to deliver operational excellence at the onset of any contract and through out the duration, be responsive within established timelines and provide cost-effective and efficient delivery.
