The project consists of upgrading Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) infrastructure along I-25 from MP 93 to MP 164 and US-24 from MP 299 to MP 312 in CDOT Region 2. Work generally includes installing fiber optic laterals to new and existing ITS devices, new caissons and conduit, Variable Message Signs (VMS), replacement of VMS monotube structures, installation and removal of CCTV cameras and camera poles, Road Weather Information System (RWIS) equipment, new electrical services, and resetting various existing ITS devices. The project also includes removal of obsolete ITS equipment and electrical services that have reached the end of their useful life.
