Demolition, site work and addition to a fire / police facility in Hudson, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The work includes, but is not limited to: Construction of a new highway garage within the general area of the previous highway garage at the referenced site. Work includes limited demolition of existing garage foundations and floor slab, limited site and utility related work, new pre-engineered metal building, foundations, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and fire protection system. The Project schedule anticipates an approximate contract award and start date of one (1) month from bid opening and shall be Substantially Completed by November 13, 2026 for Owner Occupancy and completed and ready for final payment by December 15, 2026. The Contractor(s)' surety, if any, shall be assessed liquidated damages for late completion. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The Greenport Fire District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation.
