Renovation of an educational facility in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids are invited for five separate prime contracts for the 2024 Capital Facilities Improvement Project at Council Rock Primary School. The contracts include: General Trades, Mechanical (HVAC), Plumbing, Electrical, and Sitework. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and prepared as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders, including a security deposit of not less than five percent of the base bid. Detailed requirements for bidder qualifications-such as bonding and insurance, financial statements, bank references, lists of lawsuits/arbitrations, a statement of surety's intent to issue performance and payment bonds, and a description of similar completed projects-are specified. Attention is called to the owner's sales tax exemption and employment conditions, including minimum wage rates. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids, and may disqualify bidders for material non-compliance with the Instructions to Bidders and Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. Bidding documents are available upon deposit and must be returned in good condition for a refund. Paper sets may be shipped at the bidder's cost. A pre-bid conference will be conducted to provide bidders with important project information, followed by a building walk-through for interested parties. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is strongly recommended. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
